Small village located in full Guarguera in left margin of the river Guarga, to his feet there gets up the Saw that takes his name. Lately it seems that population is returning.
The area in which it is placed is called Prepirineo, an area of low mountain placed to the south of the Pyrenees. The Town settled in a small flatness between the saw of Aineto (to the north) and vale of the Guarga (on the south).
Quoted initially in 1076, his name has had the variants of Agineto and Ayneto, and it has always been of realengo, that is to say a property of the King, depending, in the ecclesiastic, first of the Episcopate of Huesca and from 1571 of that of Pony, being his parochial church dedicated in the Archangel San Miguel
The Aineto natives are called Gentlemen. (fte and texts to see links)
