One finds to 775 meters of altitude between rivers Aragon and Lubierre. His place name is of origin probably preIndo-European and it was declared a Place in 1785.

In the right shore of the river Aragon, on one plateau known as "The crown of Abay", is his parochial, dedicated San Andrés. The typical physiognomy presents of the small style temples with only one ship and head semicircular.

They emphasize House Juan Ramón, The Plain mountains, Roldana, Benedictine, Cistercian, Her Abbey, Gabriel, Juan José, Angela, Field, Fabián, Pedro, Pelao, Pablo and Tailor.

The agriculture and the cattle, formerly basic and unavoidable props of the economy of these grounds, are still capable of supporting effective some road surfaces, but they are in frank regression and restructuring.

The Town is provided with accommodations of rural tourism for all those that should want to stay at beautiful constructions pirenaicas.

Areas covered by a thick cloak of vegetation where we find mixed forests of beeches, pines, firs and many other species, creating the suitable habitat for bears, squirrels, deer and numerous species of such birds of prey like the Egyptian vulture, the tawny vulture or the protected lammergeier.
